SecureBat SSL SMTP/POP3  

Start SecureBat.

Open "Account" -> "Properties", choose "Transport" tab.

On "Send mail" panel:

set "SMTP server" as mutemail.com
set "Connection" as "Secure to regular port (STARTTLS)"
set "Port" as 25.
Click "Authentication"
check "Perform SMTP Authentication (RFC 2554)"

  • If you use USB iKey1000 token:
    select "Store password on the token"
    set "User" as your_username@your-MuteMail-domain.com" ( user@mutemail.com)
    click "Browse"
    select iKey token
    click "Set" in "Token password" panel
    enter your MuteMail password
    click OK.
  • If you DO NOT use USB iKey1000 token:
    select "Use settings of Mail Retrieval"
    check "
    Require secure (MD5) authentication"
    click OK.

On "Receive mail" panel:

set "Mail server" as mutemail.com
set "Connection" as "Secure to regular port(STARTTLS)"
set "Port" as 110
set "User" as your_username@your-MuteMail-domain.com" (user@mutemail.com)
set "Protocol" as "POP3"
Click "Authentication"

  • If you use USB iKey1000 token:
    select "iKey MD-5 CRAM-HMAC Challenge/Response"
    click "Browse"
    select iKey token
    click "Set" in "Token password" panel
    enter your MuteMail password
    click OK.
  • If you DO NOT use USB iKey1000 token:
    select "MD-5 CRAM-HMAC Challenge/Response (RFC-2095)" click OK.

click OK.
