Start Eudora.
Open the "Tools" menu, choose "Personalities". Right click on "Personalities" window, choose "New" to run New Account Wizard. This is done for you automatically the first time you run Eudora. If you already use Eudora, select this option manually.
Choose "Skip directly to advanced account setup" and press "Finish" button.
Enter your personal information - Real Name, return address (yourname@domain.com). Set "Login Name" same as "Return Address". Set "SMTP Server" as mutemail.com, "Authentication allowed" must be checked. Fill in "Default domain" as domain you chose during subscribing (for example, if your e-mail address is john@mutemail.com set default domain as mutemail.com). Select "Required, STARTTLS" in "Secure Sockets when Sending".
Select "Incoming Mail" tab. Enter mutemail.com in "Server" field. Choose "POP" or "IMAP" in "Configuartion". Set "Authentication" as "Password", and "Secure Sockets when Receiving" as "Required, Alternate Port". Click "OK" button.
Open the "Message" menu, choose "New Message". You will be taken to compose new mail window. Choose new Persona you just created in "From" field. Set "To" field as your e-mail address and press "Send" button. Operation will fail with message "SSL Negotiation Failed". This mean you need to add Globalsign CA root certeficate, so Eudora will recognize it in future. Open the "Tools" menu, choose "Personalities". Right click on Persona you just created in "Personalities" window, choose "Properties". Click on "Last SSL Info" button. New window will appear. Click on "Certificate Information Manager" button. Highlight "BE, GlobalSign nv-sa, Root CA, GlobalSign Root CA" in "Server Certificates" section, press "Add to Trusted". Press "View Certeficate Details" button, and new window will appear. Press "install Certeficate" button. After going through install procedure, press "OK" to save your changes and then "Done" button.
Note: Setting Eudora to use alternate SMTP port require eudora.ini file editing. You can find more details at Eudora vendor site: http://www.eudora.com/techsupport/ini.html
